Security Cleared (SC) Platform Engineer (Contract)
Location: United Kingdom remote Country: UK Rate: £600 per Day (inside IR35)
Looking for Platform Engineer with DevOps Terraform it is not a DevOps role
Support and troubleshoot
Our platform engineers play a key role in implementing a pure DevOps culture into a client's business, helping automate wherever possible. They can work on technically challenging, cross-functional engineering projects to build supportable, sustainable, and reliable services.
The engineers will be specifically selected to fit the skill and experience requirements of customers for team or individual engagements. However, by example, they will have expertise and support in all aspects of the DevOps toolchain, including but not limited to Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Rundeck, DataDog, Ansible, Salt, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker.
In addition, the platform engineers we can provide will evidence skills in:
- Public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Continuous Integration systems such Hudson, Jenkins, Concourse, Drone & Bamboo.
- Configuration Management tooling (Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Salt)
- Good understanding of the HashiCorp Suite (Packer, Terraform, Vault, Vagrant, Consul)
- Containerisation or virtualisation awareness - Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm, OpenShift
- Familiarity with the core systems and/or database administration skills.
- Strong communication skills: with the ability to convey and or understand complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Software engineering, Java, Python
