Our central gov client is seeking an interim Programme Manager, to join a flagship portfolio of Programmes

PREVIOUS CENTRAL GOV. PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

Join us as a Programme Manager and lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programmes aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the system. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects within a programme portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Programme Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the planning, execution, and delivery of programmes within the Ministry of Justice. Align programme objectives with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.

  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, government agencies, and community partners. Communicate programme objectives, progress, and outcomes effectively to gain support and alignment.

  3. Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including budget, staff, and external vendors, to ensure the successful delivery of programme initiatives within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

  4. Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact programme delivery. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure programme success.

  5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure programme progress and effectiveness. Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that programme deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and policies. Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess programme performance and identify areas for improvement.

  7. Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of programme outcomes and drive organizational transformation. Engage stakeholders, provide training and support, and manage resistance to change.

  8. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the programme team. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize programme delivery through lessons learned and best practices.
