Security Cleared Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS, Azure, Agile (Contract)
Location: United Kingdom remote Country: UK Rate: £650/day (inside IR35)
 

We are excited to partner with our global client, a leader in digital transformation that provides innovative solutions and services to help organizations harness the power of technology and is seeking several SC Cleared Senior DevOps Engineers.

The roles are currently UK remote-based, initially on 6 months basis.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • takes on more advanced responsibilities.
  • will define processes and procedures to ensure maximum re-use while maintaining standards
  • expected to understand security policies and implement solutions that satisfy these security requirements.
  • advise on and help implement test automation solutions and deploy monitoring solutions.
  • provide Level 4 support for 3rd party PaaS/SaaS services such as AWS, Azure, Splunk, Dynatrace, Trello, and Miro. At this level, the DevOps Engineer should be able to advise customers and teams about the latest technologies and methodologies and participate in the development and implementation of training programmes and measures that enable skills to be improved.

Skills and Competencies:

  • should possess advanced expertise in the relevant DevOps tooling.
  • should have SME level skills required for Microsoft AAD and configuring and security hardening the full suite of Microsoft 365 E5 (Office, Windows, and Security products)

Qualifications: A specialist technical degree or equivalent experience is expected. Advanced certification in relevant technologies and methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps, would be advantageous. The individual may also hold a Specialist Technician in Management qualification.

Experience:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in DevOps engineering.

  • should have led DevOps transformations and have experience in performance testing complex, highly integrated, and vendor-managed applications.

  • should be comfortable Scripting web applications, integrating a performance testing approach into an Agile delivery environment, and have proficiency in source control systems.

  • may also have the experience of leading performance teams and in-depth test automation development.

  • Proficient programming in OOP language and leading test automation efforts is required.

  • Experience in release and/or project management is also expected.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will have a valid UK Security clearance prior to the start.
