Are you seeking an engaging and fulfilling opportunity as a Professional Development Manager within a prestigious international law firm? If so, we have an excellent permanent Full time position available in the London office.
What you will do:
- Develop and coordinate legal and professional development training for London partners, counsel, associates, and trainees.
- Oversee the trainee seat rotation and qualification process, providing effective coaching and support for our trainee cohort.
- Coordinate the lawyering orientation process for new trainees, associates, and counsel in collaboration with human resources staff.
- Manage the evaluation process for London trainees, associates, and counsel, including supervising the collection of evaluations, participating in associate performance discussions, and drafting career development messages.
- Coordinate associate reviews in the firm's Asian and European offices and support the formal advising program for associates.
- Contribute to the firm's Associate Liaison Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Committee, monitoring trends and making recommendations for strengthening professional development and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Work closely with the New York-based Professional Development team on global projects and initiatives.
Skills, experience & qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the professional development field.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement programs and initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
