Well-known Digital marketplace is looking for a Procurement Category Manager to join their team. This is a hybrid role (2 days in their Portsmouth office, 3 days from home) minimum 3-month contract, with a high-chance of renewal and/or permanent conversion.
The role
- Negotiate exceptional supply contracts, to maximise value
- Oversee Vendor Management
- Strong category expertise across Marketing, HR, Facilities, Finance, Operations, with knowledge of suppliers in this space
- Drive contract completion
- Procurement advice
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a similar procurement/contract specialist role - 8+ years is ideal
- Solid contract negotiation experience.
- Ideally - Marketing Procurement background
- Ideally - CIPs qualification.
