The Role:

A global Asset Management firm is looking for a Application Control Specialist to join their team to become accountable for implementing an Ivanti Application Control solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze Ivanti Application Control audit logs for insights and compliance.
• Collaborate with Information Security to grasp and meet security needs.
• Deploy Application whitelisting rules to enhance system security.
• Coordinate with users to obtain UAT (User Acceptance Testing) signoff and ensure application security.
• Adhere to a comprehensive global application delivery strategy.
• Partner closely with the application team lead to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements throughout the application packaging life cycle.
• Contribute to a global team to maintain and support the global desktop estate.
• Demonstrate expertise in application packaging and release management.
• Generate various reports to track departmental productivity and progress.

Key experience:

• Possess previous hands-on experience with Ivanti Application Control, specifically in implementing application whitelisting within a production environment catering to 1000+ users.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing application whitelisting specifically within Market Data Applications.
• Proven track record of thriving in mission-critical environments.
• Background in the financial services sector or a similar highly regulated industry is preferred.
• Proficient in creating comprehensive documentation for Application whitelisting rules.
• Experienced in providing support for large and intricate applications, particularly within Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
• Familiarity with working on extensive and intricate desktop transformation initiatives.
• Active participation in knowledge sharing within the team.
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance (QA) is advantageous.
