C Developer (Contract)
Location: United Kingdom Country: UK Rate: £350-550 per day
 

My client is looking for a Developer that has experience with "C" coding for an initial 3 month contract.

The "C" Developer will be working on a migration project from Ingres to PostgreSQL and will be required to rewrite a series of Ingres Report Writer Reports to C'.

Your role will be to convert SQL statement syntax, Embedded in C' code to be compatible with PostgreSQL. System testing of new and converted C' code and assist with user acceptance testing.

You will need to have;

Strong experience working with C' code and Embedded SQL Developer.

Desirable - Knowledge and experience of:

  • Ingres Report Writer.
  • Ingres database development.
  • PostgreSQL date development.
  • Knowledge of Perl code development would be nice to have

The role can be fully remote and negotiable on rate for the right person
