Junior Global IT Project Manager (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: Up to £60k per annum
 

An IT Project Manager is sought to oversee and facilitate the successful execution of IT projects within the energy and natural resources industry. The role requires strategic planning, risk management, and strong leadership skills.

This is a globally recognised organisation within the oil and gas sector.

Description

  • Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, from concept to delivery.
  • Experience of project management in the implementation of applications and tools such as ERP, CRM, ITSM, WMS
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Profile

A successful IT Project Manager should have:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management on a global scale.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development processes, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
