Engineering Manager

Would you be interested in joining a scale-up technology consultancy as the Founding Engineering Manager? This organisation work with some of the biggest brands in finance, retail and logistics. This an opportunity to build out their Product Engineering division from scratch.

What does the role entail?

• You will be leading the development of the Tech practice where you will participate in the design and development of business proposals, as well as the identifying new collaboration opportunities with existing clients in addition to new ones
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to clients and the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards
• You will be involved in the delivery of customised technology awareness and coaching sessions to the core team as well as clients
• You will be responsible for building the core engineering team within their framework and internal projects, where you will be the contact person for Tech related projects and challenges, the validation of the deliverables, the evaluation of the achievements, and pioneering the development of the hard and soft skills of the team
• Utilise your full-stack and polyglot engineering experience to build and support modern applications using Azure, Node.js, and React (but not limited)

Experience required?

• Full stack and polyglot engineering experience with a focus on Azure, Node.js, and React
• Strong proficiency in designing and building modern applications using Microsoft Azure services and solutions
• Experience working on internal and client-facing engagements, demonstrating adaptability and effective communication
• Experience in pre-sales activities, including technical demonstrations and solution architecture design
• Strong engineering leadership and management skills, including the ability to mentor and motivate team members, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and make sound technical decisions
