Unix Infrastructure Vulnerability Specialist

Contract - 6 month initial contract (possibility for extension)

Day rate - £475 per day (Inside IR35)

Hybrid working - 2 days per week in office (London based)

Spencer Rose are currently partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation who are on the look out for an experienced Unix Infrastructure Vulnerability Specialist/Linux Systems Administrator on an initial 6-month contract basis. Within this role you will be responsible for the remediation of security vulnerabilities and configuration compliance of their Unix estate.

The Unix Infrastructure Vulnerability Specialist will have the following responsibilities -

  • Provide system administration to Linux Red Hat Servers in a Production enterprise environment.
  • Provide development and maintenance to the vulnerability management remediation process.
  • Perform security patching and remediation of non-patchable vulnerabilities

The Unix Infrastructure Vulnerability Specialist will have the following skills/experience -

  • Extensive background providing operational support experience of Linux Red Hat Server in a Production enterprise environment
  • Extensive background delivering security patches to improve functionality or removing vulnerabilities
  • Experience of Qualys Security Vulnerability reporting and performing security patching
  • Prior experience with tools like Ansible, Chef and Puppet
  • Prior experience working with Satellite Server
