Front End Developer (SC Clearance Required)

I am currently working with a leading UK Tech consultancy in their search for a contract Front End Developer for a long standing central government client. This is a 6 month rolling contract with the successful Front End Developer.

The client provide their clients with a wide range of Tech solutions. This project will be on a long term engagement with a government digital service. Please note this role is inside IR35.

Experience/Skills required

  • Modern Javascript programming (ECMAScript 2015/ES6 and beyond)
  • Proficient with React and Redux
  • Node Experience
  • Experience working with CSS + working with APIs
  • Experience working with Node.js and Express
  • Experience with testing Frameworks

Desirable

  • Experience in Typescript
  • Experience using Sass and/or Styled Components
  • Experience using Storybook
  • Creating data visualisations using Canvas or SVG
  • REST and RESTful API design
  • Experience in User Experience (UX)
  • Knowledge of Microservice Architecture and Docker
  • Experience in continuous integration (eg Jenkins and Bamboo)
