Job Opportunity: Audit Manager in Financial Services

Are you ready to lead impactful audits and contribute to strategic direction within a dynamic financial services environment? We are seeking a skilled Audit Manager to join our clients team and make a difference through your expertise and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead increasingly large or complex audits while maintaining high-quality standards within specified timeframes and budgets.
  • Contribute to strategic thinking and direction within the audit team, shaping parts of the annual audit plan.

What You'll Bring:

  • Prior experience in leading assurance work, preferably within financial services.
  • Comfortability with quantitative topics such as data analysis and statistics.
  • Understanding of key risks and controls throughout the model life cycle, with a focus on data, development, implementation, monitoring, and model use.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn about regulatory requirements for model risk management, credit risk models (IRB and IFRS9), forecasting, and stress testing models.
  • Ability to think critically and positively influence others to embrace new perspectives.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a growth mindset and an eagerness to learn and develop.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a proven track record of delivering results within set timelines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver challenging messages to senior management with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in internal and external stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience with SAS and Agile project management principles would be advantageous.
