IT Operations Manager - Process Improvement - Financial Services

Excellent opportunity opens for a hands-on IT Operations Manager with experience delivering Process Improvements and Reshaping Internal Processes to join a Financial Services Institution. The successful candidate will have experience developing, implementing and embedding IT Operations best practices.

    IT Operations:

        • Develop, implement, and embed IT Operations best practise including:
            • Technology Operating Framework: policies, processes, procedures, and documentation
              • Alignment with regulatory standards
                • Operating model, e,g, Daily/weekly mandatory tasks, setting up robust change control including a CAB, DR and backup validation
                  • Design and implement first-line of assurance control testing
                    • Align to service delivery standards, eg ITIL
                      • Coach and assist in the development of the IT team

                        Cyber security

                            • Support the delivery of enhanced cyber security framework and services
                              • Support alignment to NIST and gaining Cyber Essentials and CE+ accreditation
