My client is looking for a Systems Engineer/Network Engineer with the following skills & experience.

At least 5 Years as a System Engineer/Network Admin. Experience and working knowledge of the following software; Windows Server 2008R2 to Windows Server 2022. Experience with Veritas Backup Exec version 20 or newer. Experience with Microsoft Windows Hyper-v and clustering services. Experience with Fortinet Firewalls. Experience with Aruba or Cisco switching. Experience with Microsoft Exchange/M365. Windows Desktop Operating Systems. Microsoft Application Suite - Teams, Outlook, Office tools etc. Stabilize, standardize, and maintain hardware and software platform

Work with the business and colleagues to resolve problems ranging from server configuration to work station repair. Work with other roles in the Computer Services department to mitigate company risk through the use of Firewalls, account settings, system back up, redundant equipment, etc. Ensure system resilience is delivered, ensure back up and DR processes are complied with. Monitor network performance to validate integrity and availability, avoid downtime. Undertake system updates to Servers and end points, patching etc. Use project management methodology to ensure project success. Create scope, timelines, budget, action item lists, etc. required to manage projects to successful completion on time and on budget while meeting the business need. Work as a change agent with in the company. Provide training on new systems. Educate users on features and functions of devices that will increase productivity. Empower the work force by providing reliable tools.
