Business Analyst/Publishing/Hybrid/London (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £46k - £50k DOE
 

Not to be missed permanent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading publishing company.

Hybrid role - 2 days a week in the office.

London based.

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Publishing experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience using a good range of business analysis techniques.
  • Business Analysis professional certification, eg BCS Business Analysis Practice; BCS Requirements Engineering; Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Ability to elicit and capture requirements, including chairing requirements workshops.
  • Experience of capturing workflows, both written and in BPMN/UML format
  • Experience of capturing, analysing, and resolving data issues and translating these to IT changes for development.
  • MS Office, Visio, and other productivity tools.
  • Experience of working with third-party APIs.
  • Writing test scripts/scenarios and managing testing.
  • JIRA experience
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Experience of managing projects (and knowledge/experience of using project management methodology: Prince2 or PMI a plus)
  • Good Knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding of ETL and Datamodelling
