Business Analyst/Publishing/Hybrid/London (Permanent)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: £46k - £50k DOE
Not to be missed permanent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading publishing company.
Hybrid role - 2 days a week in the office.
London based.
Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Publishing experience.
- Knowledge of and experience using a good range of business analysis techniques.
- Business Analysis professional certification, eg BCS Business Analysis Practice; BCS Requirements Engineering; Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Ability to elicit and capture requirements, including chairing requirements workshops.
- Experience of capturing workflows, both written and in BPMN/UML format
- Experience of capturing, analysing, and resolving data issues and translating these to IT changes for development.
- MS Office, Visio, and other productivity tools.
- Experience of working with third-party APIs.
- Writing test scripts/scenarios and managing testing.
- JIRA experience
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Experience of managing projects (and knowledge/experience of using project management methodology: Prince2 or PMI a plus)
- Good Knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of ETL and Datamodelling
