Senior Java Software Engineers/Java Developer (Contract/Permanent)
Location: London Country: UK
 

We are a working with our clients who require several Contract/perm Senior Java Software Engineers for a well known global investment bank .

  • 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience in Java
  • Good understanding of Data governance (Data Lineage, Data quality, Data completeness, Metadata]
  • A natural ability to mentor junior developers
  • Service oriented architecture development
  • TDD/BDD
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Natural self-motivation with a passion for delivering excellence
  • Great communication skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Curiosity with an ongoing desire to develop and learn
  • Good exposure to system design using Java technology
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools, eg Jenkins, Sonar and CI/CD principles
  • Experience with React/Angular frameworks
  • Financial Services and/or Software Consulting experience
  • Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
