ERP/IT Analyst (Epicor ERP) (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK
 

Our client is a Global distillery company headquartered in West London, with a distillery based in Scotland. We are seeking a Full time ERP Analyst with a strong background and understanding of the Epicor ERP.

The fundamental purpose of the role is to support the business in implementing and maintaining the Epicor (Tropos/Kinetic) ERP system, as well as supporting end-users. This ERP has modules which have been designed for the whisky industry, where it can manage production and maturing stock with different product recipes and the ability to plan and forecast. The ERP is to be rolled out to new sites with EPOS and online trading add-ons.

It is an exciting time to join the business and lead the ERP rollout project. Our operation is based part in Scotland and part in London where the head office is situated. You will be the guardian/gatekeeper of the system and all that it encompasses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary owner of implementation and maintenance of the ERP Solution and interfaces
  • Responsible for data integrity, migration and building reports
  • Support end-users with troubleshooting and resolutions across all functions, including manufacturing operations, sales, logistics, finance
  • Requirement gathering from business users and implementing system-based solutions
  • Manage product development cycles and upgrades
  • Create and maintain process and end-user training documentation
  • Main point of contact for all reporting needs of the business
  • Implement Business Intelligence and data visualisation tools
  • Work with external and internal stakeholders
  • Main contact for the EPR solution providers such as Epicor and Defacto

The role requires 4 days per week on site in West London with some occasional travel to the Scotland distillery.

Key skills and Knowledge

  • Experience with ERP system technology, and deep business understanding of ERP domains (Manufacturing, Accounting, Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, Sales, Purchasing etc)
  • Experience of analytical and data visualisation tools such a Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience of EPOS and On-line trading systems such as Shopify
  • Expertise in communicating progress at each phase of development as appropriate, including published roadmaps, requirements and other information
  • High degree of both technical expertise and business acumen
