Our leading financial services client is looking for Senior Actuary a to join their team for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.

Seeking day rate contractor at the senior intermediate level to support the Finance MI for annuities project. The project is moving to a new phase of activity, requiring specialist IFRS17 and methodology/technical skill set. The team is currently more focused on base balance sheet metrics and spreadsheet process development, so two of the contractors are not being extended beyond the end of current contracts to allow new ones to be on-boarded with the right skills.

The Finance MI for Annuities project is delivering critical MI to inform decision-making around the Financial Management of the Retirement Solutions Business. The new phase of activity will focus on completing the MI suite for Capital Generation and Operating Cash Generation, while developing capabilities to monitor business performance on the new IFRS17 metric and greatly enhance ability to monitor back-book performance on the Mortgates book. This is essential to inform decision-making on capital allocation to support BPAs, actual performance relative to expectations in the AOP and potentially plays a role in informing dividend supportability.

Skills required:

• IFRS17 - Implementation, Analysis, Review and Technical skill set.
• Balance Sheets experience
• Commercial Analysis/Operating Profit Development
