Senior Golang Engineer

Outside IR35 - £550-650pd.

Currently in search of a skilled and experienced Golang Engineer to join a FinTech scale-up.

They are a top FinTech start up based in London who have created an amazing service. With their new app, you can hold multiple currencies (local, foreign and digital/crypto) in a single account, and make payments using any of those currencies. This is unlike anything else on the market at the moment and means that users bypass exchange fees, transaction fees etc.

You will be working closely with mobile and product teams to work on the build and delivery of the mobile app, as well as the Back End services that keep the company running. You'll be very hands on in this role, leading from the front and promoting best coding practice.

Key Skills required of the Golang Engineer:

  • An exceptionally strong software engineer, but you've moved into Golang development primarily for the last 2-3 years or so
  • experience working across mobile and web apps, as well as building Back End services
  • Thorough understanding of Agile, DevOps, TDD, cloud deployments (GCP) and MicroServices Architecture

Contract Details:

  • £550-650 Outside IR35
  • Fully Remote
  • 6 months (possible extensions)
