Deerfoot IT Recruitment has an exciting hybrid opportunity for a Finance Director to join our inclusive and collaborative team in London. This Full time Finance Director role comes with a salary of £130,000 to £160,000 and many exciting benefits - Bonus/Share Options/Pension etc

As Finance Director, you will report directly to the CEO. You will hold SMF2 for the company and have overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the company strategy. You'll analyse figures and implement recommendations based on these findings with the most profitable outcomes.

• Developing, initiating, maintaining, and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the Finance function and its related activities to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Developing financial models for each company
• Ensuring all filings required by the FCA, HMRC, and other regulators are filed promptly
• Contribute fully to developing company strategy across all business areas, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate, and providing financial analysis and guidance.

The successful Finance Director applicant will have excellent relationship-building attributes, enabling solid relationships to be developed with all levels of the business. You must be detail-oriented, focusing on delivering accurate information based on a thorough analysis and sound industry and regulatory understanding.

Additional qualifications include:

• Significant professional credibility gained through relevant financial management experience
• Quality of character to be able to present financial management information issues firmly to senior management and deliver appropriate challenges when necessary
• Demonstrable leadership skills and successful staff management experience, ideally with experience managing a team
• Proactive collaborator who will be an ambassador for finance management within the organisation
