EUC Engineer - 3 months+ - £200-300pd Inside IR35- FULL TIME ON SITE (Milton Keynes)

My client are a Global IT Consultancy who are looking for an EUC contractor at engineer level to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with a pedigree of Server Management excellence.

Resource requirement is 5 days a week onsite in Milton Keynes, and there may also be requirement to travel to the Dordon site (near Tamworth)

• Working on a variety of hardware, software and application incidents and requests
• In-depth troubleshooting, resolving incidents and fulfilling Work Orders in line with Service Level Agreements
• Provide advice, guidance and assistance to customers & colleagues
• Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure timely resolution to customer incidents
• IMAC and Project work, which may include uplifting equipment
• Knowledge transfer between team and other stakeholders
• Following Software Asset Management guidelines and processes
• Fix/rebuild devices
• Troubleshooting of current mobile telecommunications technology and Microsoft operating systems
• Device deployments and software installations
• Vendor liaisons
• Comfortable with creating user focused documentation, specifically OneDrive 'How to' guides for users.
• Support the creation of OneDrive service support documentation and assist with the transition to BAU EUC (where applicable).
• For all encountered issue types, workarounds and implemented solutions, document these formally to be presented through the Service Transition as a Service process.
• Comfortable with testing OneDrive activations and knowledge of OneDrive data migration (My Documents and Home Drive)
• Ability to follow produced test scripts for testing OneDrive.
• Comfortable with creating user focused documentation, specifically OneDrive 'How to' guides for users.
• Comfortable supporting users migrating personal data to OneDrive with onsite, floor walking presence across Blakelands, Wymbush and Dordon locations.

Required

• Full UK driving licence & own vehicle required
• Proven technical skills within a Desktop environment
• Ability to assess, interpret and apply known skills to a range of site based problems that may arise
• Good understanding of Operating systems, network products and the most commonly used office software application packages
• Significant practical Hardware break/fix experience, desktop, laptop, tablet and printers
• Good Customer facing skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to carry out workshop repairs on products
