Infrastructure Consultant - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid/Ipswich

Join a global mobile operator leading the charge in telecommunications innovation. We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant to join our clients team on an initial 6-month contract for a long-term program.

• Title: Infrastructure Consultant
• Duration: 6 months (Long term program)
• Location: Hybrid - Ipswich (1/2 days per week)
• Commencement Date - ASAP
• Daily Rate: £500 - £550
• Determination: Inside IR35

Key Requirements:

• Certified OpenStack Administrator (Pike): Demonstrated expertise in managing and administrating OpenStack environments, ensuring smooth operations and optimization.
• Proficiency in Nova, Neutron, Glance, Cinder, Swift, Heat, Horizon, and other integral components of OpenStack.
• Hands-on experience in deploying and managing virtualized environments using VMware ESXi, KVM/QEMU, and related technologies.
• Demonstrated success in onboarding Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) into virtualized environments, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization.
• Extensive practical experience, with a minimum of 5 years, in deploying and managing OpenStack, VMware ESXi, and associated technologies.

Must Haves:

• Design, Implement, and Optimize Infrastructure Solutions: Utilize OpenStack, VMware ESXi, and other virtualization technologies to design, implement, and optimize infrastructure solutions tailored to our unique requirements.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to onboard VNFs, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Provide Expert Guidance and Support: Offer expert guidance and support to resolve infrastructure issues promptly and optimize performance for maximum efficiency.
• Relevant Certifications: Holding certifications in OpenStack and VMware is highly desirable, showcasing your expertise and commitment to excellence.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
